With over 25 years of experience in civil and business litigation, Ms. Ryan has handled matters in a variety of legal areas. She received her A.B. degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and her J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in 1984.
Norah Ryan is admitted to practice in the state courts of Missouri, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Ms. Ryan has been an active member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis since she was a law student. She has served as Vice-Chair for the Women in the Legal Profession Section of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL), as co-chair of the Bankruptcy Committee (Business Law Section, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis), and as co-chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section of BAMSL.
Ms. Ryan lives in the Tower Grove East neighborhood of the City of St. Louis. Among other neighborhood activities, she has served as President of the Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association (2005-2006), and continues to be a member of the board of directors of the neighborhood association, serving as Safety Committee chairperson. She is also a member of the board of directors of the DeSales Community Housing Corporation, a local non-profit, as well as serving on the steering committee of Operation Weed and Seed of St. Louis, and on executive board of the Eighth Ward Independent Democratic Association. She is married with two children.
